Job Posting – Automotive Technician

However, to do so we are looking to add a motivated individual that has excellent mechanical skills all while being a team player. Apprentice Automotive Technician:
Job Type : Full Time (40 Hours per week plus possibilities of overtime)
Salary : To be determined based on experience
Education : High School Diploma / Class A Automotive Technician License (Red seal 310S)
Location : Kapuskasing
Start Date : As soon as possible
Reports to : Fixed Operations Manager
Duties and Responsibilities
•Complete mechanical repairs on customer vehicles such as but not limited to (Brakes, front ends, accessories, wiring issues, oil leaks, Engines, Transmissions etc.)
•Complete mechanical inspections following all MTO specifications
•Complete recalls on all Stellantis brand vehicles
•Complete pre delivery inspections on new vehicles
•Complete all required Stellantis (Chrysler) training courses
•Maintain shop’s mechanical equipment (Hoist, tire machines etc.)
•Fill out work orders with repair procedures
•Complete parts requests with required parts
•Test drive vehicles
•All other related tasks requested by upper management
Skills and Qualifications
•Minimum of 2 years experience in an automotive technician role or other related experience
•Punctuality and reliability is a priority
•Must have good communication skills and be willing to work as a team
•Good computer skills
•Capability to work in a fast paced environment all while being extremely organized
•Must have a flexible working schedule
•Must strive to achieve excellence
•Capable of working under pressure and prioritizing are required skills
•Must have Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
•Bilingual is an asset
