Val Albert Motors Ltd has been serving Kapuskasing and its surroundings for over 55 years and we are more motivated than ever to keep on serving the area with all your automotive needs for another 50 years. However, to do so we are looking to add a motivated individual that has excellent mechanical skills all while being a team player. Val Albert Motors has always put its #1 priority towards customer service, and the chosen individual will be expected to deliver at this level. Tire, Accessories, Lube and Oil Technician:
Job Type : Full Time (40 Hours per week plus possibilities of overtime)
Salary : To be determined based on experience and qualifications
Education : High School Diploma
Advancement : Apprentice program possibility
Location : Kapuskasing
Start Date : As soon as possible
Reports to : Service Manager

Duties and Responsibilities
• Complete mechanical maintenance on customer vehicles such as but not limited to (Oil and filter replacements, tire servicing, accessories, oil leaks, grease etc.)
• Manage winter and tire storage facilities for customers.
• Install, balance and stud tires as needed.
• Install basic accessories such as side steps, mudflaps, vent shades, back racks and etc.
• Complete pre delivery inspections on new vehicles
• Complete all required FCA (Chrysler) training courses
• Maintain shop’s mechanical equipment (Hoist, tire machines etc.)
• Fill out work orders with repair procedures
• Complete parts requests with required parts
• Test drive vehicles
• All other related tasks requested by upper management

Skills and Qualifications
• Experience in automotive is an asset
• Punctuality and reliability is a priority
• Must have good communication skills and be willing to work as a team
• Good computer skills
• Capability to work in a fast paced environment all while being extremely organized
• Must have a flexible working schedule
• Must strive to achieve excellence
• Capable of working under pressure and prioritizing are required skills
• Must have Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
• Bilingual is an asset
