Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep®, and Ram vehicles come with a 5-year or 100,000-kilometers Powertrain Warranty*, featuring a $0 deductible and 24-Hour Roadside Assistance†. Cummins® Turbo Diesel engines have their own Limited Warranty, covering certain diesel engine parts for 5 years or 160,000 kilometers*. The warranty is transferable too, so if you sell your vehicle during the warranty period, the new owner will be covered.
The Basic Warranty offers coverage for 3 years or 60,000 kilometers*. If a defect in material or workmanship arises, the 3/60 Basic Warranty will handle the adjustment, repair, or replacement of any factory-installed part of your vehicle† for the 3-year or 60,000-kilometre* duration.
For corrosion protection, the warranty covers any body sheet metal panel that
develops a hole due to corrosion for 3 years, regardless of distance driven. Additionally, outer body panels are protected against corrosion holes for up to 5 years or 160,000 kilometers, whichever comes first. An outer body panel is any sheet metal panel visible while walking around the vehicle and painted in body color.

Optional Mopar Vehicle Protection (MVP) Plans
Mopar Vehicle Protection plans enhance the factory warranty, often including specific key fob coverage as a safety and convenience feature.
- *Safety and Convenience Warranty/Plan:** This service contract protects against repair bills for conditions covered by the chosen plan, and includes dedicated key fob protection options, some available in 3–4 year terms.
- *Added Care Plus and Maximum Care:** These extended plans provide coverage for up to three key fob repairs or replacements, with a total maximum benefit of up to $600, and no deductible for the fob repair itself. This coverage applies even if the component is lost or stolen.
*FlexCare:** These plans also offer key fob repair and replacement coverage as part of a comprehensive package, along with other benefits such as roadside assistance and car rental allowance.
